John Spiliotis is an independent Sales and go-to-market advisor with over 34 years of technology sales leadership experience across multiple industry verticals. He is a Senior Operating Advisor at LLR Partners, a $6B private equity firm along with being an advisor to several VC and PE-backed cybersecurity companies and integrators and a Board member at Cherwell Software, a KKR-backed, Colorado-based software company.
Prior to retiring from Palo Alto Networks in January 2018, John was responsible for driving all Palo Alto Networks direct and indirect sales engagement activities in the Americas ($1.8B, 70% of all sales), ranging from channel productivity and major account team management to Service Provider, Federal, Systems Engineering and overall core sales strategy. Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, he served as Vice President of Avaya’s Global Channel organization where he was responsible for leading the customer-focused and partner-engaged go-to-market strategy for Avaya’s global sales and channel organization.
Before Avaya, John held senior theater-level positions with direct and channel leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Extreme Networks, and Redback Networks, which was acquired by Ericsson.
John holds a Masters in Finance and Banking from Hofstra University and a BA degree in Mathematics from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. He and his family have lived in Centennial, CO for 24 years.
