Anomali Adds Key Executives - Enhancing Global Reach, Newest Additions Bolster Extraordinary Growth

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – [9/8/16] – Anomali, the leader in threat intelligence platforms, today announced additions to its executive team. In April Anomali received $30 million in Series C funding to support international expansion, product development, and supplement sales and marketing efforts. In support of this strategy Anomali added industry leading executives: Dan Barahona, chief marketing officer, Jamie Stone, vice president EMEA, and Richard Betts, regional business development EMEA.

Barahona will lead the Anomali marketing and business development teams, expanding the company's brand as the business grows globally. With more than 20 years experience, Barahona brings a strong technical background and deep business acumen to Anomali. Prior to Anomali, Barahona served as EVP Worldwide Field Operations for Qualys. He has significant experience leading business and product development for organizations such as ArcSight (acquired by Hewlett Packard) and WatchDox (acquired by Blackberry).

Stone will be responsible for building the Anomali EMEA business, expanding partnerships and deepening customer relationships. A veteran of more than 25 years in cybersecurity, Stone has served in a variety of leadership roles where he has been successful in generating new business. Most recently Stone directed sales for Cloudera and Solera. Stone also held positions at ArcSight where he served in a variety of roles, including director of cybersecurity and anti-fraud.

Betts will be responsible for developing business with channel and technology partners across EMEA. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT Security and operations. He was formerly the EMEA CTO at Bigfix and held senior leadership roles at both HP and IBM. Most recently Betts developed the EMEA businesses for security firms including Tanium, Moka5 and ThreatConnect. Over the last 12 months Richard focused on the threat intelligence space as a trusted advisor to some the largest global organizations and managed security service providers.
