Anomali Joins Europe’s Leading Security Cluster at The Hague

The Hague, September 27, 2017 – The Hague Security Delta (HSD) welcomed today threat intelligence provider Anomali as its new Premium Partner, at the Cyber Security Week 2017. HSD is the leading security cluster in Europe. In this Dutch cluster businesses, governments, and knowledge institutions work together on innovation and knowledge in the field of safety and security.

“Joining this prestigious security cluster is a privilege and an important milestone as Anomali continues to expand its European footprint. We believe in the HSD’s vision and work within the ever changing cyber landscape. We look forward to collaborating with the cyber security community in The Hague, specifically on intelligence sharing and contextual data insights, which ultimately delivers stronger defences,” commented Eric Dingemans, Regional Sales Director Benelux at Anomali.

The Importance of Effective Cyber Threat Intelligence
There are many sources of intelligence that companies can use to keep at least up to date with the criminals, if not one step ahead of them. But the quality of this data can vary widely across intelligence feeds, which is why Anomali provides enterprises with vetted, curated feeds that reduce false positives and increase the detectability of actionable incidents.

“Organisations need rapid access to contextual and actionable threat intelligence to detect any malicious activity in their networks,” said Dingemans. “This enables them to quickly pinpoint active threats and mitigate them before material damage occurs. We offer the platform that is able to prioritise threat data, operationalise insights, and facilitate the sharing of intelligence. Our participation at the Cyber Security Week in The Hague will give us an opportunity to share our approach to helping organisations find and respond to cyber threats, and to learn from our peers.”

Doing business from within Europe’s largest security cluster
The Hague region boasts 400 security businesses that contribute to over 25% of the Netherland’s national turnover in security and employs 15,200 people. HSD and the City of The Hague supported Anomali in becoming part of the expanding security community in the region.

Joris den Bruinen, deputy director of The Hague Security Delta: “We are pleased to welcome Anomali to our community. Having Anomali as a Premium Partner is testament to our reputation as Europe’s leading security cluster."
