ANOMALI TEAM

Ahmed Rubaie has spent nearly four decades watching industries get disrupted — and learning what it takes to lead the transition rather than follow it. As CEO of Anomali since 2021, he has transformed the company into an AI-native security operations platform — building the governed decisioning layer that enterprises need to go beyond detecting and start acting.

Ahmed has overseen the successful execution of cloud transformation, including at Ariba (NASDAQ: ARBA), where he helped the company emerge from the 2008 recession to become the second most valuable Software-as-a-Service company by 2012. Having pioneered that macro business model disruption, he brings the same conviction to accelerating the movement to AI.

At Sitecore, Ahmed helped the company succeed in rapid growth transformation ahead of its $1.2B sale to EQT. He served as COO and CFO at Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT) during a period of rapid global expansion. He has also been active as an investor and board leader across the cybersecurity space.

Prior to the last two decades in technology, he held senior operating roles across global publicly traded manufacturing and natural resources businesses.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from Albion College and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, where he is a recipient of the Outstanding Career Influencer Award.
